Care should not be a worry but a priority in our ageing society with its growing healthcare needs. That, at least, is the vision that Trefpunt Zorg put forward recently. Trefpunt Zorg facilitates skills and experience sharing in the care sector in West Flanders, with the aim of improving health and well-being. By creating links between care facilities, research and knowledge institutions, companies, political bodies and organisations in the social profit sector involved in healthcare, Trefpunt Zorg aims to help build a collaborative and intersectoral provincial care ecosystem. Trefpunt Zorg’s Advisory Board supports the coordinator in rolling out its activities and at the same time acts as the liaison between stakeholders in the sector. Group Daenens collaborates fully with the Advisory Board.
